Jeanne M. Lindemann was welcomed into heaven on Friday, June 26, 2015. A life-long resident of Manitowoc County, Jeanne spent her last years at Sheboygan Senior Center, where she passed away peacefully of natural causes at the age of 84.

Jeanne was born on October 3, 1930 in Manitowoc. She was the daughter of the late Bayemil and Martha (Bruns) Jarosh. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1948 and, in 1951, married John W. Lindemann Sr., who preceded her in death in 1974.

Jeanne's greatest joy in life, were her children and grandchildren and spending holidays with them. She worked tirelessly for many years at Mirro Aluminum in Two Rivers to provide for them. She is remembered for the special and generous Christmas's she was always sure to give her children and grandchildren, and it was a great regret to her when she could no longer experience the happiness of presenting each grandchild with an envelope at Christmas.

All who knew her well enjoyed Jeanne's spunk and sense of humor, which she maintained through her last days. She was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Jeanne was affectionately known as "Granny" and "Squeezy Grandma" by her loved ones. Those who will miss her include her five children: Debra (Robert) Shavlik, Green Bay; Dawn Lindemann, Newton; John (Debbie) Lindemann, Manitowoc; Pam Lindemann, Pewaukee; and Chris (Kerry) Lindemann, Manitowoc; and her sisters, Mary Eisenschink and Sandy Neuser, also of Manitowoc.

Granny will also be greatly missed and greatly remembered by her grandchildren: Carrie, Ross, Cullen, Rory, Misty, Tina, Austin, Alec, Jonah, Will, Zac, Jacob, Nate, and Savanna. Jeanne also leaves behind many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband John, Jeanne was preceded in death by her son Jeffery.

As were her wishes, a private service will be held for Jeanne, officiated by the Rev. Robert Kujawski, Pastor of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The family is being assisted by Reinbold and Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Jeanne's name. Online condolences may be expressed at www.jensreinboldandpfeffer.com

The family thanks Pastor Loescher and the staff at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church and the staff at Sheboygan Senior Center for all the care and compassion given to Jeanne.
