Donald Russell Gibson, 81, of Canton passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Pink and Laura Gibson; brothers, Grady and Johnny; and one sister, Francis.

Russell is survived by his wife Florence Gibson; son, Jimmy (Pam) Gibson; daughter, Cathey (Jerry) Thomason.

Funeral services will be held at Smoky Mountain Cremations and Funeral Service on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 1:00pm with Ronnie Surrett officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00pm until 1:00pm. Burial will follow services at Clark's Cemetery.
