Age 84, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Fri. April 2, 2021 following declining health. Born on Jan. 10, 1937 in Gillett, PA; Marcia was the daughter of the late, Augustus & Bessie Blodgett Austin. In service to the Lord, Marcia was very active a the Elmira Christian Center throughout her life. She loved children and enjoyed every moment spent with them. Marcia enjoyed gardening and helping others. She often volunteered at the Bradford County Manor. Marcia retired from Chemung ARC in 2018 after 38 years of dedicated service, she worked in food service. Surviving is her loving family, siblings, Mary Rummings, Elmira; Carroll Austin, CT; Barbara Mintz, NY; Marilyn Jenkins, NY; many nieces and nephews including, a special niece and friend, Angel Rummings. Guests will be received at Caywood's Funeral Home & Gardens, 1126 Broadway Southport/Elmira, NY on Wed. April 7, 2021 between the hours of 5-7 p.m. In accordance with state regulations face masks and social distancing are required. Services will be private at the family's convenience and will be streamed on Caywood's Facebook page following the visitation.
