Elizabeth Marie Petersen, age 40 of Carrollton, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021. She was born April 29, 1981 in Montgomery, Alabama, daughter to Nancy Stewart Petersen. She is preceded in death by a brother, Daniel "Dan" Michael Petersen. She is survived by her mother, Nancy Stewart Petersen of Carrollton; sisters and brother-in-law, Kathy and Steve Sommers; brother, Don Petersen; niece, Heather King; and nephew, Travis Sommers. The family will receive friends at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. In keeping with the family's wishes, her body will be cremated following the visitation.
