Edger Hugh (Bud) Aldredge was 87 years old and enjoyed every day of his life. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Dorothy. They were high school sweethearts. He was also preceded in death by five older sisters. He is survived by four daughters, Kay, Terry, Joel and Cindy; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Bud was a star track runner and football player for then-Davenport High School, now Central High School in Davenport, Iowa.
He retired from Alcoa in 1992 and spent his time with family at Crystal Lake, Iowa, fishing, boating and playing cards. He moved to Kingman in 2000.
Bud spent his last few years with his girlfriend Marie in Kingman.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home, 1701 Sycamore Ave. in Kingman. A private family funeral will be held at Mountain View Cemetery.
