Ruth was born to Otis and Pearl Carter Luck on April 2, 1926.
On July 28, 2021 God sent an angle to claim what was his.
Ruth was educated in the Pittsylvania County School System; she was a home maker by profession. She was married to Jerry Hall from this union they had one daughter Brenda Luck Gresham.
Ruth was the last of her generation. Ruth (Big Sis.) she was known as a wonderful woman who enjoyed entertaining others with her sense of humor and her giving spirit. She had a way with words and you would understand where she was coming from.
Ruth was proceeded in death by her husband Jerry Hall, and her daughter Brenda Luck Gresham. She leaves to cherish her memory eight grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A private cremation ceremony has been held.
"She found the road was getting rough the hills were hard to climb She gently closed her loving eyes and whispered "Peace be mine". Her weary days, her nights of pain Her restless hours have passed. Her ever patient worn out frame has found sweet rest at last. "
