Gary was a painter by trade, but enjoyed fishing, hunting and working with wood, he also loved the Broncos and Vikings. Gary was a lifelong member of Ostmark, having been baptized and confirmed within the walls of the little country church. Attended Dist. 74, and graduated from Litchfield H.S. in 1958.
His parents, Aldon and Adeline Benson preceded him in death, left to mourn are his sister, Nancy Magoon (Chuck) their daughters, Lisa Ritter (David) and Angela and Scott of Wisconsin, and Tanya Burr (Michael) of Tennessee, nieces Brianna, Heather, Katie, and Skyla, nephews Christian, Zachary, Tanner, Zach, Kaiden. A quiet celebration of life with family only was held on the 17th of Nov in New Richmond.
