January 6, 1960 - August 5, 2021
On August 5, 2021 our Heavenly Father called home his beloved Cheryl Ann Walker, to be reunited with the many loved ones that have gone on before her. Cheryl was 61 years old, born January 6, 1960, in Pensacola. She married the love of her life, Kevin D. Walker, in 2005, they lived in Cantonment. Together they had six children, three sons, three daughters, 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Clarence Pyritz and her mother, Gaye Nell Pyritz.
Memories of her life will be forever cherished by her remaining, three brothers Chuck Pyritz (Lori), Joseph Pyritz (Susan) and Al Walker (Robin); two sisters, Lisa French (Ray), Michelle Dubose (Mack).
She was blessed to become the "Nana" to 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, loving them all unconditionally and enjoying every moment that she could be spend with each of them.
Cheri also found great joy in potted plant gardening and loved to grow all types of plants. She loved music of all types especially contemporary Christian. She loved helping her neighbors and chatting and listening when they needed a sounding board. Cheri was a wonderful cook and loved to cook and provide for her neighbors. She was famous for her fresh baked breads and pound cakes for all of the family fun times and get togethers.
Cheri's wishes were to be cremated and forgo the traditional "boring funeral services", in lieu of such services, she desired a full celebration of her life here on earth and the next phase of her eternal life with as she liked to say "her Jesus" which she was so ready to meet.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at her home in her party kitchen.
