Linda A. Wolfe, 73, of Schenectady passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady.

Born on November 7, 1947 in Potsdam, NY, she was the daughter of the late Cecil F. and Margaret A. Garvey Wolfe.

Linda was raised and educated in St. Regis Falls, NY. She went on to attend North Country Community College in Saranac Lake graduating as a licensed Radiologic Technologist and Radiation Therapist.

After college, she was affiliated with Ellis Hospital in Schenectady to preform her clinical work. She continued working at the hospital for over 35 years until her retirement as a Radiation Therapist supervisor.

She was a devout Catholic and communicant of St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish, Union St., Schenectady, where she served as a Eucharistic minister.

Linda was a very caring, generous and humble woman. She would often donate her time to various organizations. She was a very active member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, Schenectady, serving on the Corporate Board, the Trinity Degree Team, she served as a Missions and Charities Officer and was awarded The Spirit of St. Bridgid Award for her dedication to the club. She was also a member of the Burnt Hills Oratorio Society for 15 years and was active with the Woodlawn Neighborhood Association, the Woodlawn Preserve Committee and the Woodlawn Park Committee.

In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by her sister, Mary Jenkinson; dearest friend, Diana Traficante and her beloved pets, Buddy, Chance, Buka and Pumpkin.

She is survived by her nephews, Robert (Dawn) Jenkinson of Orchard Park, NY and James (Pam) Jenkinson of Hopkinton, NY; several great nieces and nephews; devoted friends, Margaret Miggins, and Pat Schissler, her beloved friends who she considered family, Colleen Traficante, William (Trish) Traficante, Jr., and Wayne (Christine) Traficante, and their children who were like her grandchildren, Jeremy, Matt, Mia, Adam, Ryan and Jordan.
