Richard A. "Rick" George II, 75, of Coplay, died Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Leshko) George to whom he was married 46 years. Born in Allentown, June 21, 1946, Richard was the son of the late Richard A. and Kathleen (Morrissey) George. A graduate from the University of Miami with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Richard was the manager of the War-Hunt Trucking Co. in Allentown for the last 46 years. He was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, (Egypt) Whitehall.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Barbara; sister, Sandra A. George of Coplay; brother, Thomas W. George (Denise) of Allentown;grandchildren, Jaden Joseph Rivera residing in King of Prussia, Joylyn Heleen George-Knight, residing at home; predeceased by a daughter, Sarah Beth George.
Service: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am. Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 4102 S. Church Street, (Egypt) Whitehall. The Rev. Msgr. Daniel J. Yenushosky will be the celebrant. Family and friends may pay their respects from 9:30 – 10:30 am. Tuesday in the church. Interment will follow the Mass at Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville.
