Martin Wallace Johnson, 62, of Caledonia, Ohio passed away on August 4th, 2021, at his home surrounded by family. Johnson was born on March 2, 1959, in Marion, Ohio to the late Daniel Lee Johnson and Mary Lou Mullins.
Martin served in the United States Air Force for over 7 years before being discharged. He had many jobs working for companies like Whirlpool, Rural King, and Verizon. Besides work, he spent quality time with his family and friends. He enjoyed bowling, going to Cedar Point, and would often take trips with his friends and family.
Martin was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Bruce L. Johnson, one niece and two nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
He is survived by his brothers; George A. (Kathy) of Caledonia, OH, Brett A. of Caledonia, OH and Daniel Johnson, of Caledonia, OH, sisters; Melinda K. Johnson, of Marion, OH, Leatha G. Johnson, of Bellefontaine, OH, and Brenda L. (Thomas) Lehman of Big Island, WV, 9 nieces and nephews, and 11 great-nieces and nephews.
The family would like to invite everyone Martin knew to a celebration of life that will be held on Sunday, August 8th, 2021, at the Sunny Acres Barn banquet hall from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. His interment service will be held later at the Caledonia Cemetery where there will be military honors. Funeral arrangements were trusted to the Boyd Funeral Home. Donations can be made to the family and to the funeral home as well for the family.
