Robert Leon Elliott, age 77 of Estill Springs, passed from this life on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Estill Fork, Alabama on March 10, 1944 to the late Wyatt and Aline Elliott. Mr. Elliott worked for many years with TVA, having helped build the Tim's Ford Dam. He also worked for AEDC and Riverside Nursery. After his retirement he loved to fish, spend time in the garden and mow his yard. Mr. Elliott loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. His grandson, Steven loved to stay with him when he was younger and enjoyed their time together.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Elliott is preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Oakes; siblings, Johnny Elliott, Ray Elliott, Daisy Musser and Louise Benson. He is survived by his children, Darrell (Donna) Elliott, Lisa Elliott and Tina (Tony) Sons, friend and mother of his children, Doris Prince; brothers, Billy Elliott and Bobby (Susan) Elliott; Twelve grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren; host of nieces and nephew.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 4:00PM at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro. Rudy Wilkinson officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in New Center Grove Cemetery.
