Mrs. Eliza Elizabeth Beasley, age 77 of Stuart, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. She was born in Patrick County on August 2, 1944, to the late Roy Woodrow Beasley and Susie Ann Gibson Beasley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Shelby Belcher and one brother, Tim W. Beasley. Eliza loved gardening, working in her flowers, doing all kinds of crafts, crocheting, and knitting.

Surviving is a sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Charlie Chaney of Stuart; one brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Glenda Beasley of Stuart; and six nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 9, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor J.R. Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in the Creasey's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
