SUPPLY -- Mr. Jason Carlton Hollis, 57, of 2062 Ocean Highway West, Supply died Sunday May 4, 2008.
Mr. Hollis was born in Onslow County, NC on July 22, 1950 and was the son of the late Frank D. and Rillie Ottaway Hollis. He was a US Army Veteran serving in Korea. Mr. Hollis retired from General Electric in Wilmington after 34 years of service. He was a member of the Myrtle Beach SDA Church and attended Sharon United Methodist Church in Supply. He was a member of The Brunswick County Concerned Bikers Association. His passion was riding his Harley Davidson.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Hinton Hollis; three sons, Jason David Hollis of Kannapolis, NC, Brian Hollis and wife Lyndsey of Groton, Ct., Christopher Hollis of Wilmington; two daughters, Crystal Gore and husband David of Supply, Teena Hollis of Wilmington; two grandchildren, Roy Gore and Jordyn Prince; two brothers, Frank Hollis and wife Linda of Bailey, NC, Steve Hollis and wife Judy of Jacksonville, Fl.; two sisters, Connie H. Mathews and husband Larry of Hampstead, Doris Morris and husband Bill of Raleigh.
Funeral services will be held Thursday May 8, 2008 at 2 pm at Sharon United Methodist Church, Holden Beach Rd., Supply with Pastor Eddie Hill officiating. Burial will follow at 4:30 pm at the Ottaway Cemetery, Hwy 17, Holly Ridge, NC
The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 pm Thursday at the church prior to the funeral service.
Pallbearers will be, Charles Long, Wiley Hewett, Michael Carlysle, David Milliken, Greg Stevens, Tom Driver. Honorary pallbearers will be Ken Marks and Michael Hewett.
