Rachel Guevara Torres, age 87, of Ontario, California passed away on Friday, July 30, 2021. She was born in Los Angeles, California on October 27, 1933. She was married to John Escanuelas Torres on January 15, 1951. She was a homemaker and raised 8 children with her husband.
Rachel had a passion for novelas, Hallmark movies, fried shrimp, chocolate covered strawberries and tamales. Most of all she absolutely loved all her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Ralph Torres, Jennie "Lulu" Romero, Angie Torres, John Torres, Jr., Manuel "Manny" Torres, Lydia Aitken, Paul Torres and Christina Torres; 27 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11:30am on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Draper Mortuary Chapel and will be accessible for viewing via Livestream on Facebook. (Please check under Services towards the bottom of the page for link to Join Livestream.)
