Margaret Hale, 86, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2007, at the Barren County Health Care Facility in Glasgow. She was born in Barren County, the daughter of the late George Thomas McClard and Vivan Avis Harrison McClard. She was a former employee of Sorensen Mfg. in Glasgow and was a member of the Bethel Independent Baptist Church.

Mrs. Hale is survived by a daughter, Delzie Adcock of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two granddaughters, Ashlee and Andrea Adcock; one great-granddaughter, Ava Pack; two brothers, Bernard McClard of Louisville and Dan McClard of Cave City; three sisters, Sue Betty Shirley of Louisville, Evie Jewell Birge of Austin and Nell Smith of Fountain Run; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Hale; a son, Ferrell Hale; two daughters, Florene and Clorene Hale; and two brothers, Carlos and Leonard McClard.

Burial was in the Poplar Log Cemetery.
