Lewis, Sandra Jean went to be with her Lord Tuesday, August 3, 2021. Sandy was loved dearly by her parents Robert and Rita Meconi. She will be remembered by her devoted husband, Terrence Lewis; children Katie Woodruff, Michael Lewis (Jen), and Timothy Lewis (Terri); grandsons Nathaniel and Jacob Woodruff; nieces, nephews, and many cherished friends. Sandy was a dedicated and valued educator for many years at Jenison Public Schools, impacting the lives of endless children in the community. She loved her family above all else, was a loyal cheerleader of her grandsons' sports and, as a graduate of Michigan State, remained a lifelong Spartan fan. With a smile that lit up a room, Sandy truly lived her life with kindness, generosity, and love, and will greatly be missed by all who knew her. Visitation with relatives and friends will be held from 10-11 a.m. Friday, August 6, 2021 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3937 Wilson Ave. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. Mass will follow immediately at 11 a.m. A private interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
