Terry "Squeaky" Lavern Blanchard passed away in his home on August 2, 2021, in Bartlesville at the young age of 62. He was born to Otto Kenneth Blanchard and Nina Irene (Todd) Blanchard in Sedan, Kansas on August 21, 1958.
Terry graduated from Pawhuska High School, later working as a truck driver and mechanic technician, while also specializing in concrete work. For 27 years, he worked at B and H Ready Mix concrete work and Smith Metal until he took retirement. On July 20, 1978, Terry married the love of his life, Sherry Annette Blanchard. Terry enjoyed many hobbies including hunting, fishing, racing micro midgets, woodworking, and loved spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed going to the Annual Green Country Rodeo and loved to watch his kids and grandkids rodeo events. He was known for being kind and cracking jokes; and was always willing to help others.
Terry is preceded in death by his father Otto Kenneth Blanchard, his mother Nina Irene (Todd) Blanchard, his brother William Kenneth Blanchard, his sister Nancy Irene (Blanchard) Stephenson, and his son Justin Ray Blanchard.
He is survived by his wife Sherry Annette Blanchard, his children Tara Renae (Blanchard) Hutchison, Kristi Dawn (Blanchard) Stricklin, and Misty Dawn (Baker) Bringus, his grandchildren Cheyenne Hutchison, Kassie Blanchard, Katie Blanchard, Gauge Collins, Presley Blanchard, Sawyer Hudson, Devon Heatley, and Trenton Heatley.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at 10:30 am at the Peru Kansas Cemetery.
