Jimmy was born on January 30, 1968, in Columbus, GA; the son of Robert Earl Moss and Frances Elizabeth Fordham. He graduated from Shaw High School and Columbus Tech. Jimmy was a hard worker and was willing to do anything for anyone, traits his sons learned from him. He enjoyed the outdoors which included fishing, hunting, and working on his property. Jimmy's family meant everything to him and he always made sure his boys had what they needed. He married, Elisa Moss, on November 5, 2013. Jimmy was a member of the Church of Christ and was employed as the property manager at Sea Breeze Mobile Home Community. He loved working on cars especially with his family. He learned not take his brother fishing, as they would always get into something, whether it was tearing up the boat, losing a propeller, or "that time" they had a run in with a snake on a tree limb. Family meant everything to Jimmy, everything was better when he was with them.
