WASHBURN, Mo. -- Crilla J. DeWitt, 78, of Washburn died Nov. 17, 2007. She was born Oct. 18, 1929, in Pitcher, Okla., to James and Goldia White Cook. She married Kennith DeWitt, on July 19, 1946.
She was a graduate of Southwest High School in Washburn. She worked for Daisy Manufacturing in Rogers for many years and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Washburn and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by two grandsons, James and Marcus DeWitt.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Kennith of the home; one son, James DeWitt and wife Ruth of Evanston, Wyo.; three daughters, Joyce Lahr of Washburn, Janice Faulkner and husband Laymon of West Fork and Jeanette Corn and husband Duane of Seligman, Mo.; one half sister, Janice French of Kansas City, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
Services were Nov. 20 at First Baptist Church in Washburn with the Rev. Glenn Erwin and the Rev. Jim Erwin officiating.
Burial was in Roller Cemetery at Washburn.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Washburn.
