Judy Bishop

Judy Goodman Bishop, 73, departed her earthly body and entered Heaven on February 9, 2021. Judy was born on March 1, 1947, in Dallas, TX to Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Goodman. Judy is survived by: her husband of 53 years, Burk Bishop, who resides in Tulsa; her son, Brad Bishop and wife, Jill of Joplin, MO; her daughter, Barbara Stearman and husband, Jim of Springfield, MO; seven grandchildren: Brady Bishop (Sophie), Ben Bishop (Chloe), Grace Bishop, Ella Bishop, Luke Stearman, Will Stearman, and Adam Stearman; her brother, Dr. John Goodman and wife, Lynn of Arlington, TX; nieces, Loryn Hairston (Thad) and Lisa Hedges (Jay); and nephew, Mark Goodman (Vonda Kay).

Burk and Judy have resided in Tulsa since 1981 and are long-time members of Southern Hills Baptist Church. Judy's family and friends loved her dearly and all who knew her will miss her sweet smile and kind words. A memorial service celebrating Judy's life will take place at Southern Hills Baptist Church on Saturday, February 20 at 2:00 pm.
