Joyce Evans,83, died peacefully in Hospice at St Vincent Infirmary Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas, on August 1, 2021. She was born on December 30th, 1937, in Marianna to the late Harry Norman Houston of Harrisburg and Mary Alice Louise Ford Houston of Moro.

She was a beautiful woman, devoted mother, and grandmother. Known as an avid Bible reader, knowledgeable Sunday school teacher, artist, seamstress, and outgoing person, she made people feel loved and appreciated and practiced that in her profession as a Registered Nurse. She was also active in her church and loved to travel when she could. Her smile was contagious and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents Harry and Mary Alice along with her brother Homer Lawrence Ford, and her son Paul Gorden Macon Evans. Joyce is survived by her daughter Deborah Ann Fendley of Austin, Arkansas, sons Jimmy Norman Evans and Micah Wesley Evans of Cabot, brother Arnold Barry Ford of Lansing, Michigan, sisters Norma Mae Jackson and Brenda Carole Bohn of Holly Springs, Mississippi, along with 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, and 13 nieces and nephews.

Funeral service at Fowler Funeral Home Chapel, Brinkley. Burial at Oak Grove Cemetery in Moro.
