John W. Hardcastle, 40, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on August 1, 2021, at his residence. Born March 21, 1981, in Mission Hills, CA, he is the son of Diane M. Huber & Clark F. Saul. He was predeceased by his father, the late Rickey L. Tarboro. He served with the US Army in Afghanistan as a cavalry scout. John was a member of the YMIA, the Bernadine-May American Legion Post, and St. Philip & St. James Catholic Church. He was a fan of the New York Giants football team and was a very proud veteran. Survivors, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Ashley Lukachek Hardcastle, and children; John W. Hardcastle Jr., Michael Hardcastle, Silas Hardcastle, and Allison Hardcastle. In addition, he is survived by brothers; Rickey L. Tarboro and wife Stefanie, Jason R. Tarboro and wife Wanda, as well as nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2021, from 6-8 p.m. at the Finegan Funeral Home at 302 Heckman Street in Phillipsburg, NJ.
