He is survived by his wife and best friend Lynnette Melton, sons Jason Wicks, Russell Melton, Rodger Melton, Mike Melton, daughter Michley Crabtree, Mother Oleta Ragan Potts, sister Donna Donald, 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Michael was preceded in death by his father Jack Sanders, daughter Chairisty Sanders, brother Jackie Sanders and sister Patricia Franklin.
