Thomas William "Reggie" Ross, Jr., 34, of 796 Old Chester Rd, Blacksburg, S.C. went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 31st, at Cherokee Medical Center.
Born in Gaffney, S.C. he was the son of Thomas William Ross, Sr. and Charlene Ross. Mr. Ross is survived by his Paternal Grandparents W. T. Ross and Helen Ross.
He was employed by Milliken Allen Chemical Plant, Blacksburg, and was a member of Hopewell Presbyterian Church of Blacksburg. He was a graduate of Blacksburg High School and was an all-around sports player.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Ross is also survived by his two children, Miriah Ross, of the home, and Kylan Ross, of Gaffney. One brother, Steven Ross, of Blacksburg, two sisters, Ashley Ross Hicks, of Rock Hill, S.C., Antawana Ross Jefferies, of Gaffney, and Danielle Miller (half-sister), of Gaffney; Several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Paternal Great Grandparents, Kirby Wilson and Marion Wilson, of Blacksburg and Maternal Grandparents, Jack Hayes and Flossie Hayes, of Shelby, N.C.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 6th at 3 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church, 511 Old Chester Road, Blacksburg with Rev. Donnell White officiating. The Family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. until the hour of service.
Interment will follow at Hopewell Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Hwy 5, Blacksburg SC.
Visiting hours at the funeral home will be on Thursday, August 5th from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m..
The family will be at the residence.
