Marjorie grew up on the Malcom farm east of Tabor, Iowa with her siblings and learned how to help with the farm work. She played basketball in high school and graduated in 1944 from Randolph High School as class valedictorian. She met her future husband, Russell Lee White in high school and they were married in Sidney, Iowa on January 11, 1945. In 1949 they moved to Shenandoah. During the years in Shenandoah, Marjorie worked at Central Surveys and Imperial Inc. as well as helping Russell at the Shenandoah Airport and later in his White Aviation business. She was the treasurer of the local VFW Auxiliary for more than 25 years and received a lifetime membership. Marjorie moved to ND in 2017 to be close to Judy.
Preceding her in death was her husband Russell of 68 years, parents Orville and Cora Malcom; brothers Francis, Kenneth and Dale Malcom; sisters Ruth Fichter and Neomi Richardson. Son-in-laws Marvin (Del) Wolfe and Bill Christian; special friends Dale Vose and Ivan Flynn.
Survivors include her daughters: Connie Wolfe of Alma, NE and Judy Christian of Moorhead, MN; grandsons: Brian (friend Gina Bash Pritchard) Wolfe of Kearney, NE and Brad (Becky) Wolfe of Alma, NE; granddaughters: Allysia (Keegan) Hughes of Honolulu, HI and Myriah (friend Richard Thor) Christian of O'Fallon, MO; great grandchildren: Caitlyn (Tyler) Spevak; Emily (fiancé Nate Watson) Wolfe; Alexis and Madison Wolfe; Asheron, Kyrian and Arikos Hughes along with great great-grandchildren: Carson, Olivia and Joseph Spevak and special family friend Sherry Flynn; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
