Mr. Phillip Doyle Pruitt, 74 of Covington, passed away on the evening of July 29, 2021 at the Memphis VA Medical Center. Mr. Pruitt was a United States Air Force Veteran, a retired draftsman, and a member of the Central Christian Church of Covington.

Mr. Pruitt is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertha Delk Pruitt; his sons, Jeff Pruitt of Covington and Preston Pruitt of Decaturville, TN; his siblings, Sue Qualls and Clifton Pruitt, both of Covington; four grandchildren, Chasity Pruitt, Mackenzie Pruitt, Christina Pruitt, and Phillip Pruitt; and by two great-grandchildren, Madison Ott and Sophia Perez. Mr. Pruitt was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Floy Mix Pruitt; and by his siblings, J. P. Pruitt, George Willie Pruitt, Wayne Pruitt, Faye Travis Jones, and Helen Pruitt.

Visitation for Mr. Pruitt will be held on Monday, August 2nd, from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at the Maley-Yarbrough Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 with interment following in Townsend Cemetery.
