Robert Kennedy Sampson, 84, of Friendswood, passed away on July 25, 2021.

Robert was born on May 18, 1937 in Washington, DC to parents Captain Robert Roy and Virginia Kennedy Sampson.

He proudly served two terms in the US Army from 1956 – 1959 and 1961 – 1962. Robert met the love of his life and married Frances Patricia Wilhite of El Paso on January 18, 1964. Together they had two children, Rebecca and Jennifer. He worked for NASA as a budget Analyst for 36 years.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Jennifer Sampson.

He is survived by his loving wife Frances, daughter Rebecca Sampson, and grandchildren Jason Kennedy Everett and Lauren Erica Everett.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, TX 77546, with Rev. Jerry Stark officiating.

Following the service, the family would like to invite everyone to their home.
