"BURCH -- Ronnie Burch, 78, of 556 Main, died yesterday at St Margaret's Hospital. He was born in Meade County, Kentucky and had been a resident of Kansas City since 1920. Mr. Burch was a retired boilermaker for the Union Pacific railroad. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Martha Burch of Linden, Clay County, and a son, Bernard R. Burch, 303 Grand, North. Services will be held at 9:15 o'clock Tuesday at St Patrick's church, North Kansas City. Burial will be in East Slope Cemetery." The Kansas City Times, January 5, 1953
