Brian A. Miller, age 38, of Huber Heights, passed away on July 31, 2021, after an 8 year battle with cancer, surrounded by his family. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on June 26, 1983, the son of Danny and Deborah Miller.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert & Evelyn Miller, Wanda Garrett and Arthur Garrett; uncle, Douglas Miller; his best friend, Stephan Thiele; and his "Cancer Dog", Konrad.

Brian is survived by his loving parents, Danny & Deborah Miller; siblings, Christopher Miller and Jeannette (Abdelilah) Horre; niece and nephew, Raja and Abdelhakim; aunts and uncles, Robert (Betty) Miller, Suzanne (Steven) Combs, Terry (Cindy) Miller, Dorothy (David) Spang, Maribett Decker and Wilfreda (Kevin) Garrett-Mann; and many other loving cousins, family members and friends.

In his free time, he enjoyed playing baseball, golfing and traveling. Brian was a Civil War/History buff and loved to venture to visit a variety of battlefields. He was a HUGE Ohio State fan and also loved to cheer on his Cincinnati Reds. Brian was a very inspirational soul, even when undergoing treatments, he was always trying to uplift those around him. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was very outgoing. Brian was deeply loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm, on Sunday, August 8, 2021, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, August 9, 2021, at 10:00am, with Pastor Steven Combs officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery, Beavercreek.
