Ellen A Barckley,95,of Clay Center,died Monday,June 22,1998,at Clay County Hospital.
Mrs. Barckley was born,Nov. 11,1902,at Randolph, the daughter of John and Esther (Sandburg) Blomdahl. She was a cook at Keck's Steak House in Manhattan for many years. Mrs. Barckley was a member of the Clay Center Weslyan Church. Survivors include two daughters, Stellamae Murk of Clay Center and Goldie Marie Prater of Colorado Springs,Colo.,10 grandchildren,19 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30a.m. Friday at the Holmes Funeral Home in Riley with the Rev. Harold Hotchkiss officiating. Burial will be in Mariadahl Cemetery at Olsburg.
