Funeral services for Jesse Doyle, Jr. will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 4, 2021 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Dr. B. David Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball.
The family requests that visitation be observed at Hixson Brothers, Pineville Wednesday, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
Pallbearers will be Joe Louviere, Noah Louviere, Tom Doyle, Rick Doyle, Richard Bruce, Stephen Tumminello.
Honorary pallbearers will be John Hunter, Aubrey Sanders, Joe Patin, Charles R. Tumminello, Larry Faircloth, Louis Roberts, David Gaspard, and all my coffee drinking buddies.
Mr. Doyle, 84, of Ball, passed from this life on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at his home.
Mr. Doyle was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Alexandria. He began as a teacher at Bolton High School in 1967 and then in 1971 was made Principal until he retired in 1991. Jesse was nominated for the State Principal of the year and served many years as President of the Rapides Principal Association. He also received the Distinguished Education Award. Jesse loved his work with students and strived to motivate students academically. He always enjoyed supporting the athletic events.
After retirement he enjoyed traveling, gardening, fishing and camping at Toledo Bend. Later he loved to have coffee with his friends at McDonald's and the donut shop.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Doyle, Sr. and Edve B. Doyle.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Alice K. Doyle; daughter, Tracy Lynn Doyle Louviere and husband, Joe; grandchildren, Jolyn Louviere, and Noah Louviere, and numerous other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 5011 Jackson Street, Alexandria, Louisiana 71303 or a charity of your choice.
