Our beloved Kimberly RaeAnn Johnson, born in Urbana, Illinois and raised in Anaheim, CA passed away on July 18th, 2021 surrounded by family.

Kimberly is remembered and cherished as mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, specialist educator and friend. Kimberly loved everyone unconditionally and everyone loved her back. Her strength, courage, devotion to God, family, friends and her students have been an inspiration to everyone who knew her.

Kimberly lived most of her life in Anaheim. She was an Instructional Volunteer at Robert M. Pyles Elementary School in Stanton and taught at Clara Barton Elementary School in Anaheim. Upon moving to Texas, Kimberly taught at White Oak Intermediate and Middle School in White Oak, Texas. Kimberly was also Director of Religious Studies at St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Gladewater, TX.

Kimberly received her BA majoring in Art History and a minor in Child Development in 1994 and California Multiple Subjects Clear Teaching Credential with ELD authorization in 1996 at CA State University Fullerton and Master of Science in Education at National University, La Jolla, CA in 2000. Upon her return from Texas to California, Kimberly received her Special Education Teacher Credential in 2018 at CA State University Fullerton.

In 2018, Kimberly started teaching for Torrance Unified School District. Kimberly had her "dream" position as Specialist Education Teacher at Victor Elementary School in Torrance. However, she considered her greatest accomplishment was raising her son, Josh.

Kimberly is survived by her son, Joshua Johnson, mother Patricia Tew, father Charles Huth, brothers Timothy Huth (Joanie), Eric Huth, her nieces Jessica and Kathryn Huth, her nephew Matthew Huth and numerous cousins in California, Illinois and Florida. She was preceded in death by her brother Michael.
