Born July 27, 1931, in Allegany, she was a daughter of Samuel and Mary Quattrone. On April 28, 1951, in Vandalia, she married the love of her life, David P. Rogers, who predeceased her Aug. 16, 1994.
Margaret was a homemaker and raised her six children. She inherited her mother's great Italian cooking skills, and later in life she enjoyed being an Allegany Central School band mother, and also enjoyed excursions to the casino.
She is survived by three daughters, Julie Keim of Cuba, Mary (Richard) Carls of Hinsdale and Romayne (Thomas) Gilbert of Maryland; two sons, David (Barbara) Rogers of Olean and Thomas (Laura) Rogers of Vandalia; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a daughter-in-law, Irene Faux of Corpus Christi, Texas.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Lawrence Rogers; two sons-in-law, Michael J. Keim and Jack Mason; three brothers, Bruno Quattrone, James Quattrone and Peter Quattrone; and two sisters, Annette "Nettie" Ryan and Nancy Davis.
The family will be present to receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. Tuesday (July 20, 2021) at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Road, Olean. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. in the funeral home, with Rev. James Vacco, OFM, to officiate. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
