John K. Faulkner III, 95, a retired Administrative Engineering Technician for City of Cranston Department of Public Works passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021 at the RI Veterans Home in Bristol.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John K. and Helena H. (Smith) Faulkner Jr.

Mr. Faulkner was a graduate of Bryant College, a WWII Navy Veteran, a member of the Elmwood American Legion Post and an active life long member of the US Power Squardon, Narraganset Bay Unit.

John was the beloved brother of Florence L. Blixt and the late William R. Faulkner; loving uncle of Lynn Quaranto, Barry Blixt, Susan Appleby, Bridget Blixt and the late Deborah Zimmerman and Cheryl Dowding; loving great uncle of Bret, Austin, Nicole, Stephanie, Sam, Nate, Michael, Shelby and Hailey.

His funeral was held Thursday, August 5, from the Thomas & Walter Quinn funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew Church, Elmwood Ave, Cranston. Burial with Military Honors was in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours were held Wednesday evening.

In lieu of flowers memorial contribution to the Cheryl Ann Faulkner Dowding Foundation, 81 Ticonderoga Dr. Warwick, RI 02889 will be appreciated.
