Graveside services for Raymond Lloyd Wilson, 77, of Thackerville, OK, will be Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta, OK, under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Marietta. Officiating will be Bro. Murray McMurray.
Raymond was born January 31, 1944, in Fort Worth, TX, the son of Luther and Dortha (Bridgeman) Wilson. He died July 30, 2021 at his home.
A resident of Love County most of his life, he and Donna Jean Bond were married August 8, 1964 in Gainesville, TX. She preceded him in death on February 2, 2017. Raymond worked for the Gainesville Foundry where he retired after 40 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, gardening, and spending time at deer camp.
Survivors include daughter, Dianna Rauschuber and husband Don of Gainesville; brother, James Wilson and wife Joan of Gainesville; sisters, Cathy Wilson of Sanger, TX, Lanette Smith of Lewisville, TX, and Oma Lee Walker and husband David of Whitesboro, TX; grandchildren, Aaron Rauschuber and wife Bonnie, Justin Rauschuber and wife Brittany, and Tyler Rauschuber and wife Molly; and nine great-grandchildren.
Raymond was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Donna Wilson; his parents; brothers, Johnny Wilson and Bob Wilson; and sisters, Helen Morgan, and Betty Smithey.
