...My Step-Mom...
Jeanne was a wonderful step-mother. She was an excellent seamstress and sewed school clothes and made pajamas at christmastime for all of us. She made wedding dresses for many brides in the Paradise area. She enjoyed sewing for other people and earning a little extra money. She was a member of the Agenda Club in Paradise and was active in Rainbow girls. After her husband Elmer Henderson died, she took employment in the National Parks, where she met her companion Jack, who preceded her in death. She and Jack were Santa and Mrs Santa at the mall during Christmas holidays when they were in Sacramento area during the winter. She was a good cook and made the most delicious fudge cake. We all miss her very much...and we loved her very much...
