Margaret Josephine (Jo) Jackson, age 90, of Knoxville, went to be with her Lord on Thursday July 29, 2021.

She was a member of Black Oak Heights Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by husband of sixty-five years, Jr. Jackson, who passed away in 2015.

She is survived by children, Pamela Arms and husband Gary; Jason (Jay) Jackson, IV and wife Karen; Grandchildren, Wendy Jackson Lacey and husband Jeremy, Donald Wesley Jackson and fiancé Shannon Croy, Sara Josephine Arms and fiancé Jack Beckham; great grandchildren, Kristie Hughes, Kayla Dyrda, Brody Jackson, and Zoe Jackson; sisters, Carrie Lou Miller, Nancy Donnelly, Sharon Rimmer, and Valerie Shaver; and brother, Gary Sims.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Monday August 2, 2021, at funeral home. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Dr. Alan Smith Family and friends will gather at 1:45 pm Tuesday August 3, 2021, at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery (Gov. John Sevier Highway) for a 2:00 pm graveside service.
