Carl Danielson was born in Fillmore county (sic) Nebraska, July 5, 1893, and passed away at the Danielson home west of Ong Monday evening, June 15, at the age of 37 years, 11 months and 10 days. About 28 years ago he moved with his parents from Fillmore county (sic) into Clay county (sic) in which county he resided until the time of his death. These later years he lived on a farm northwest of Ong.

Those who are left to mourn are his beloved wife, son, Howard, 12 years of age; his mother Mrs Bertha Danielson; two sisters, Mrs Nels Culin and Mrs Walfred Anderson; one brother, Oscar all of Ong. The father passed away some 27 years ago and was the first to be laid to rest in the Ong cemetery.
Funeral services were held from the Bertha Danieslon (sic) home at 2 o'clock and at 2:30 at the Gethsemane Lutheran church (sic) of Ong, Thursday, June 18, 1931. The pastor, Rev H. L. Hassel, had charge of the services. Mrs Emmert Nelson, Mrs Wesley Sandberg, Mrs Carl Ericson and Mrs Harry Pearson sang. The many floral offerings spoke eloquently in their exquisite silence. The church was filled to capacity. Interment was made in the Ong cemetery.
