GLASS - Gary Francis, Virginia formerly of Carrolltown, Age 64. Died unexpectedly July 29, 2021 in Virginia. Born May 1, 1957 in Spangler. Son of Leo and Rita (Robine) Glass. Preceded in death by parents, in-laws Ray and Eva Trexler; sisters-in-law Sherry Glass, Nancy Delso, & Carol Matevish. Survived by his wife, who was the love of his life for 41 years, Jane (Trexler) Glass, Chantilly, VA; son Nathan & wife Pamela Glass; 2 grandchildren Samantha & Leo Glass. Brother of Mark Glass, Ebensburg; Brian Glass, Ebensburg; Daniel Glass, Carrolltown; Kimberly (Mark) Colberg, Carrolltown; and Allan Glass, VA. Also in-laws, Ed & Deb Urbain, NC; Ray & Coleen Trexler, NC; Randy & Terri Pellas, PA; Jeff Trexler, CA; Bob & Chris Trexler, FL; John Delso, PA; and Bob Matevish, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Gary graduated from St. Francis University with a B.S. in Business Management and Strayer University with an M.S. in Information Technology. Retired from the Aerospace Corporation in 2019 and continued employment at AT&T as a Senior Network Design Engineer. Gary enjoyed spending time with his wife, golfing with Nathan, watching the Steelers and Penguins, and playing with his grandchildren. He was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Aldie, VA. Friends received Tuesday 5pm-8pm at the Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Holy Name Catholic Church, the Rev Brian Warcohla, Internment Holy Name Mausoleum, Ebensburg.
