Margaret Opal "Witt" Arnett, 95, of Amarillo died Wednesday, April 2, 2003, in Centennial, Colo.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Amarillo Bible Church with Dick Remley, pastor, and relatives officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street.

Mrs. Arnett was born in Wheeler County in 1907. She went to West Texas State Teachers College in 1924. She was a teacher, a homemaker, and also worked for several years in the office of Cal Farley's Boys Ranch. She married John Arnett in 1929 in Amarillo. Margaret was a member of Amarillo Bible Church and was very active in all of the children's programs.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1963.

Survivors include a daughter, Lita Joyce Holsteen of Littleton, Colo.; a son, Bobby John Arnett of Wills Point; a sister, Bonnie King of Waco; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Child Evangelism Fellowship, 818 W. Ninth Ave., Amarillo, TX 79101; or Gideon's International, P.O. Box 2304 Amarillo, TX 79105.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
