Reba LaFern Baird King, 93, of Amarillo died Friday, Dec. 23, 2005.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd., with Alan Williamson, Ware Memorial chaplain, officiating.
Mrs. King was born Oct. 21, 1912, in Baltimore to Edna Haines Baird and Tracey Baird. After moving to Panhandle, Mrs. King worked and retired as Carson County librarian. She married Harvey King in 1955. He died in 1979.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews, and her friends, Jean and Wayne Henderson and their families, all of Amarillo.
The family suggests memorials be to the Ware Living Center, 1300 S. Harrison St., Amarillo, TX 79101.
