Funeral Mass for Ina Balderrama, age 80, of Brownwood, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at St. Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Greenleaf Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. on Monday in the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel.
Ina was born on Jan. 5, 1929, in Paducah to Victor and Maria Gutierrez. She married Gilbert Balderrama on December 20, 1951. She worked for Brownwood Manufacturing for 15 years. She loved her family very much.
Ina is survived by her daughters, Gloria Gamble and Linda Balderrama, both of Brownwood, Grace Alvarez and husband Pedro of Dallas; son, Gilbert Roland Balderrama of St. Louis, Mo.; granddaughters, Stacey Perez and husband Anthony of Brownwood and Marisela Moreno of Dallas; grandsons, Michael Joseph Miller and Matthew Cruz Moreno of Dallas; great-grandchildren, Marisa Isabella and John Antony Perez of Brownwood; one brother, Victor Gutierrez of Indianapolis, Ind.; and her special niece, Maria Louisa Rodriguez of Brownwood. She is also survived by special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert, her son Joe Angel Balderrama, her parents and several family members.
She was a great mother and friend to all and will be greatly missed. We love you mom and you will be in our hearts forever.
