Susan Lynn Thompson, of Forks Township, Pa., passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. She was the daughter of the late John H. and Patricia Thompson and was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Arnoldo Velasco. Susan was born in Easton, Pa., and was a graduate of Easton Area High School. She further attended Northampton County Community College and had been employed by AT&T as an executive secretary. Prior to that, she worked at Ingersoll-Rand. Susan was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Easton.

Susan was a loving daughter and sister and is survived by her mother, Patricia Grace Anne (Hughes) Thompson, and brother, Michael J. Thompson.

A viewing will be held from 6-8 pm Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman Street, Phillipsburg, N.J. A funeral service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, 330 Ferry Street in Easton, Pa., on Wednesday August 4, 2021, at 10 am with calling from 9-9:45 am. Interment will follow at Easton Cemetery.
