Norman L. Butler, 67, of Fredericksburg, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, July 21, 2021.

Norman worked many jobs over the years, mainly with roofing and plumbing. He was hard-headed in some ways, but loved his family more than anything. Norman raised his daughter mostly as a single dad for much of her life.

He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Conner (Scott); two grandchildren, Lacie and Jaxon Conner; a brother, Louis Butler (Brenda); a sister, Anna Carrington; three nephews, Bryan Butler, Wayne Vogt and Kevin Butler; and three nieces, Wendy Samuels and Cindy and Linda Carrington.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Florence Butler; a brother, Clarence Butler; two sisters, Judy Clifton and Ruth Carrington; two nephews, Timmy Butler and Michael Carrington and a niece, Misty Carrington.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels, 10719 Courthouse Rd, Fredericksburg. A graveside service will take place at 11 am on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Ramoth Baptist Church Cemetery, 478 Ramoth Church Rd, Stafford 22554.
