Ms. Cynthia was born on April 16, 1961, in Natchez, MS, to Elijah Bates and Pearlina Banks Bates.
She was preceded in death by her parents Elijah and Pearlina Banks Bates; two sisters, Lee Anna White and Dorothy Bates; one brother, Darnell Bates; one nephew, Dr. KeJuane Bates.
Ms. Cynthia leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Dawndrice Monique Abraham; one son, Tevin Bates; one granddaughter, JaKiyah M.
