Brenda Kaye Pate, age 76, of Murphy, Texas passed away on November 13, 2016. She was born on February 25, 1940 to the late Leo and Oleta (Favors) Brister.
She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church and was once employed at Lakeview and Plaska Cotton Gins as a bookkeeper. She loved to cook and antiquing. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister and will be missed dearly by all who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and survived by her daughters, Kimberly Pavelac and husband, David of Murphy, Texas and Pam Taylor and husband, Don of Colorado Springs, Colorado; grandsons, Trevor Pavelac and Tyler Pavelac both of Murphy, Texas; one great-granddaughter, Addison Pavelac; and one brother, Bob Brister and wife, Melissa of Panama, Florida and their children, Shane, Heather, Todd and Holly.
There will be a graveside service at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Lakeview Cemetery.
