Our beloved Rebekah was taken from us suddenly and tragically on June 10, 2021, in Del Norte, CO. Rebekah was born on October 15, 1984, in Durango, Colorado, to Kenneth King and Rosalie Hood. Although the family moved many times, from Washington, DC to various Colorado towns, it was the San Luis Valley that Rebekah considered home.

Rebekah worked at a number of places over the years, where she was a diligent employee, loyal co-worker and trusted friend. Rebekah always went out of her way to help others.

Rebekah loved animals and could never refuse to take in a stray. The most important thing in Rebekah's life, though, was her children. They were her world and she wanted to give the world to them.

Rebekah was preceded in death by her mother, Rosalie King, her grandparents; Rosella and Leroy Hood and Sylvia and George King and several aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her children, Audra and Oryon King and Daymion Carrigan; her husband, Archie Atencio; her father and step-mother, Ken and Annie King; her brother Aaron King; her aunts and uncles Cynthia and LaVern Hart, Jr. and Cheryl and Pat Shearin and numerous cousins.

A memorial fund has been set up for the children. https://gofund.me/137c6f42
