Robert E. Lee Short II, 54, of Chenoa and formerly of Fairbury, IL, died at 11:18 pm Friday, July 30, 2021 at Carle BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal, IL.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Bob was born December 29, 1966 in Fairbury, IL the son of Robert E. Lee and Faye L. Light Short. He married Robyn Gates on October 29, 2011 in Chenoa, IL. She survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Ashley (Josh Abbott) Short, Tucson, AZ, two sons, Phillip (Mary-Kate) Short, Naperville, IL, Mitchell Short, Peoria, IL, three step sons, Steven, Troy and Andrew Kaskavage, nine grandchildren, one sister, Kelly (Ralph) White, Oglesby, IL, and one brother, Scott (Rachel Miller) Short, Odell, IL.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Bob was a mill operator at Pittsburgh Tube & Steel for many years and had currently been a municipality worker for the City of Chenoa.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed by all.
