He was born on April 29, 1949, in Burkesville, Kentucky, and resided most of his life in Anderson.
Ray served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He was a forklift driver for General Motors and retired after 30 years of service.
He was a member of Florida Station Church of God. Ray liked to fish, tend his yard, sing and play the guitar, but most importantly he loved spending his time with his family.
Ray is survived by his beautiful blended family including his loving wife of 14 years, Vickie (Carson) Morrison; children, Lyn Smock (Gene), Randy (Jessica) Morrison, Tammy Carson, and Jessica (Tom) Myers; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also, surviving are his siblings, Ed (Sandy) Morrison, Larry (Lisa) Morrison, and Barb Diehl (Ed); mother-in-law, Nellie Carr; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his infant daughter; son, Jason Morrison; late wife, Brenda (Swinford) Morrison; father, Walter Morrison; mother, Lucille Gibson; and brother, Jack Morrison.
Services will follow visitation at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Hilligoss officiating.
Burial will take place in the Perkinsville Cemetery, Perkinsville.
